BRIEF
Create a new site for Very Lazy’s quick cooking ingredients that including pre-chopped garlic, chillies and ginger.

Concept
The old site showcased recipes that used the brands chopped ingredients. I wanted to make a more fun and interactive experience for a user so I took the idea of “lazy” and sorted recipes into levels of laziness. I also introduced a cooking aid so users could follow recipes on a device in their kitchen.
Style
Taking inspiration from the packaging I developed a visual style that used black as the main site colour, allowing the images of real ingredients to become the main focus of the site. With user interaction of lazy levels it had a modern and fun feeling to it that incorporated the brands lighthearted ethos.
As there was no photoshoot for the project I sourced, re-touched and art-worked all the individual food images to create the desired scenes. Adding fine details such as shadows I was able to create realistic visuals to compliment the site.
The lazy cooking aid for extra lazy cooks, visually guides the user through a recipe step by step. Perfect for use in the kitchen.
